Yes, that’s true! Western Digital has announced the launch of 3TB hard drive. Storage capacity was limited to around 2 TB till now. It’s a big news for the storage aspect of technology. All new UEFI- supported motherboards will be able to use this new 3TB drive as secondary and bootable drives. These drives will be fully compatible with Windows Vista and Seven users through the use of HBA card.The 3TB HDD comes with a PCI Express HBA (host bus adaptor) which sits between the drive and your motherboard. 64 Bit version of OS would be required to boot the drive.
