Lock Your Desktop With A Shortcut in Windows 7

It does get a bit time consuming when all of a sudden you have to leave your system and hit ctrl + alt + delete or WIN + L . The short cuts are hand too but just in case if you’re looking for something even quicker, we will review a basic shortcut which will take less then a minute to setup. Once you want to lock your computer, just click it and all is done.

Let’s look into creating this shortcut.
– Right click on your blank desktop and select New
– Make a new shortcut
– Type in rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation
– Hit Next , enter a name and your done!


You can also pin it to the task bar by simply dragging it there. Whenever you feel that a lockdown is required, just hit the shortcut and bamn! your system is lock.
