We have seen still cameras come in 3D by the makes of Panasonic, Fuji etc. According to Crunch Gear, Sony started a teaser in October 2009 about a 3D video camera with 3D CMOS sensor, and can shoot up to 240fps. Well, finally Sony has revealed this camera’s prototype at InterBEE 2010 (International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition) in Japan.
Detailed information and specifications hasn’t been released as of yet, since its still a prototype. But on the top of all, this professional camera includes four SxS memory slots, left and right channel HD-SDI outs, point of convergence adjustment dial and way much more.
Here is the video, done by folks over at, who cover InterBEE with keen interest.
