Keep Track Of 3G / Wifi Data Usage with DataMan for iOS Devices

Ideally we would all have unlimited data on our smart devices but unfortunately that’s not the case. Carriers charge hefty fees for over usage of data so keeping track of this becomes almost a necessity. I went on to look for a cost effective and efficient data tracker and found DataMan for iOS devices – what a super hero name!  Your friendly neighborhood DataMan app gives you full data tracking for wifi and 3G.

With the free ad supported version you are restricted to only monthly tracking and reset on your billing day however for $1.99 you can get the DataMan pro from Apple App Store or free from Installous on jailbroken iOS devices.

The pro version gives you the ability to track not only monthly usage but weekly and daily usage and also gives the option for alerts if you go over your daily, weekly or monthly allowance. This app works for iTouch, iPhone 3G/3GS/4 and iPad. However, it might not work well on iPhone 3G due to no multitasking support in iPhone 3G. Happy surfing without any more worries of going over your data allowance ever again!
