Customization is surely one of the key features of Android devices. Developers are doing enough to bypass all challenges, when it comes to Android modification. If you’re really looking forward for more, an XDA member has developed a battery icon notification ‘modification’ recently. It provides the user with in terms of battery levels.
Segmented Battery Mod as named by the developer, has been tested on Vibrant using Nero v1. Possibilities are, it might work for other versions as well. This mod can be flashed via Clockwork Recovery. Finally, if you are looking to restore back to the stock Nero icon, there is a file to do so as well. Developer has requested feedbacks (XDA), specially when tried on other versions.

you have to have nero installed / install this update from recovery menu. Check the developer link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=880869
